We are members of the band named CLOWN. All base in Butuan City. We usually perform at the El Pomodoro, one of the citys most sought-after bars. Every performance is a reflection of each members desire and passion to music. Every crazy stuff we did on stage was just a result of how we interact with our music. Just like any other bands we treasure each performance, thus, we always tried our very best to deliver our music with life. Why named the band CLOWN? Well, lets just say, in life we dont have any choice but to act like what a clown does. We dont carry problems on stage. Our private life has always been separated from our music. Some people dont understand us. Well, we can never please all, am I correct or am I correct?! Hehehe! We really dont care. Songs should have life. We can make songs for those people in the mountains; or for the asong kalye or be it for those women in short skirts; for the fans; for you! Thats where the real meaning of music comes in. Clown began way back 1997. They group themselves as a metal core where the people can ride on. They created a new type of music that made from their own experiences and hardships as a musician. Unfortunately, few years later the two members decided to leave the band. A career choice maybe. Clown was getting desperate at that time, because of lack of attention and support. Trying to get up & survive, they re-started a new style, a new image, with a new line up of members. After few months of struggling in rebuilding the group with the three remaining members, Faustino, Gian and Rj finally found their new members, now with Alvin Fon on guitars formerly from Flipside and John Paul Catarig, former drummer of Crying Puppets) now as clown's bassist. The band has finally completed its search, but after a month, Rj lost interest for some personal reason and decided to leave the group. They found out a new drummer , Andrew dela Pena. He's also from another indie band who decided to join clown after his group was disband (shark bite).
Through to their goals, aspirations and efforts, the renewed Clown continued to create their original composition. They reject all the cover songs and focuses on producing their own kind of music that will last and embed in the ears of metal listenersHave you performed in front of an audience?bar anywhere

I am drinking BLACKTOOTHS for breakfast! My 5 Disc CD changer is filled with PANTERA. My bong has been kept loaded all day with the dankest kind I can find. Tonight I will be paying tribute to the late guitar god by attending a good metal show. I will be sure today I have a great time... for today is the day of DIME!
