Band/artist history
You are seeing it, unfold.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Initially, I did some performing in public (bars, community events, praise bands, and street fairs).
Followed by a period of.. re-interpreting songs made famous by popular artists. - A process that I started to find rather intriguing for a while.
Now, It's primarily about writing & producing a variety of "new" music... while enjoying various parts of the creative process.
Your musical influences
Anything and everything that I have ever heard has influenced me... in one way, or another.
What equipment do you use?
Bass, guitar and keyboards... mostly.
And, using DAW's for recording & producing projects to flesh out musical ideas.
Anything else?
I have always believed that the job of an artist has never been to merely reflect the status quo.
I feel the artist is also obligated to entertain, amuse, & educate... and, also to shock, appall, stimulate, irritate, and shatter old perceptions... while pushing the public in new directions they had never imagined.

Greetings, GeeS1...
"Thanks," for being of the first to check out my latest track... and tribute to Al Di Meola.
Really appreciate your comments... which serve as great inspiration going into future projects.
Wishing all the best to you... and, appreciate your continued support!
Guitar and piano just working so well on this track, mix is extremely professional and top shelf (but that’s what we’ve come to expect from any of your pieces) Love it Zak, so good!
Thanks Zak for below information, it’s fascinating mate and so cool a genre which is steeped in such rich musical history and constant layering (of which it’s still morphing) So dig your music and look forward to every new listen, excellence being achieved with every one you do, cheers!
Hey, Whatup GeeS1...
Yes, the term JAZZ has become rather nebulous these days... and can mean almost anything.
I always try to make distinctions:
Traditional - Ala Miles Davis Quintet (Miles, Hancock, Carter, Shorter & Williams)
BeBop & Swing Parker & Gillespie, Benny Goodman & Ellington
Fusion (Electric & Rock) - Ala Return To Forever, Tony Williams Lifetime, Mahavishnu Orch
Fusion (Funk) - Hancock's Headhunters (most notably), Bela Fleck &Flecktones
R&B-based Jazz - ala Grover Washington, Dave McMurray, Walter Beasley, Gerald Albright
I use the term Nu Jazz because it's a blend of multiple JAZZ forms (as described above), but in a way that NEW& contemporary.
Also, because... you have to use various categories for your tunes to continue to chart.
Like if you create three songs & you put them in the same category... like EXPERIMENTAL, only the most RECENT will chart statistically.
